German Krupp's Truck

Sent in by Andy Jones of Kinver, Staffordshire.

This is a 1:18 Scale truck from the Hasbro "Indiana Jones series" Andy has remodelled and repainted it to a Wehrmacht truck with a tri colour camo scheme, quite an effective addition to a 1:16 or 1:18 scale collection of tanks and vehicles.

If you would like one just like this why not contact Andy

DID YOU KNOW

In 1941 Georgi Shpagin designed the PPSh41the urgent need for a fast firing machine pistol was recognised after the Russians fought a bitter winter war with the Finns in 1939. The Finish army used Machine Pistols to a devestating effect in the forest landscape agains the Soviet forces, and complete Finnish battalions were equipped with this weapon.

Up to 1945 over 5 million PPSh 41 types were manufactured and the Soviets followed the same credo of equipping whole battalions with this simple but very effective weapon.

Go to youtube and watch this PPSh41 fire.
